Snow Plowing

The Road Maintanance Team's goal is to provide efficient snow plowing with the lowest impact to our budget.  Roads will typically be plowed when 3" or more is measured on the pavement at the mailboxes.  Weather patterns will be considered before plowing.  For example plowing will not occur when more than 3" has fallen and warm/rainy weather is expected to melt the snow in the next day or two.   Plowing may occur to remove slush off the roads if there is a high risk of it freezing and requiring us to sand the roads.
